This week in my life...

It has been a long week! My oldest is registered full time at a local community college and she has been studying nonstop for her mid-terms and working part time at local grocery store. My middle daughter is on the cross-country team and had two meets this week, which always start at 4 PM, so I have a tough time getting there to see her. My youngest has this pain in the neck project due for Social Studies, a map of a country using colored-rice, and there is just not enough time to get things done!

I have developed a budget for myself to follow, and doing minimum payments on my credit cards, I have no money left for groceries after figuring the gas I have to spend and the anticipated increase in my utility bill for the winter. I am looking to see if I can qualify to consolidate them all. I still have good credit, but the increased amount on my credit cards to pay my bills vs. the amount of credit available has knocked me down to a scrore of 671. I hate to get another card, but I it seems to be my only option right now, without hurting my credit score even worse!

Life is short, student loan debt is long!

I am looking for anyone who would be interested in helping out a working mom who just finished college and then grad school, while working full time. Student loan repayments are making it very difficult to make ends meet, and I have had to start paying bills using credit cards just to stay current!

I know that I am in the same boat as many others, and I do know that my false sense of security in what my degrees could do for my income. I am still confident that they will help me in the long run, but in the short run, the climb up the corporate ladder has been less than speedy.
